The layout is plain and simple. There are 60 apartments are spread into 6 floors. This will mean there are 6 4B apartments, and up to 24 1B apartments. The goal will be to provide an appropriate housing to all that would need it. My goal is to reduce if not eliminate the need for the tenant to hunt for affordable housing while they tell you Section-8 is not accepted. I would be building or renovating up to 10 buildings – all of the intended to provide low income solutions not only for those with HUD subsidies, but those that need a place to live, but don’t have the subsidies. There will be SRO?s that aren’t supported by subsidies, but they will not be located here. Therefore, the layout will be as follows:
- Basement: Office, utilities, Laundry Room
- Floors 1-3: Commercial Space
- Floors 4-9: Section-8 Housing
- Roof: Solar Panels, Outdoor Space, Employee Housing
